I just wanted to say that Habanero is one of my favorite fics ever and thank you so much for writing it. It reminds me of that one tumblr post about knowing when a fic was written by an adult and it's honestly my favorite thing about it. I can completely see the habanero cast arguing about taxes

What’s really sad is that I’ve actually thought about this. When you consider how much the buildings and cities in BNHA get trashed and how many government mandated schemes there are for so many different aspects of hero society, plus stuff like the actual heroes themselves…
…like I’m just saying that taxes in urban areas in the BNHA-verse must be absolutely BONKERS and I’m so glad I don’t live there
I have three stories in the making, a SessKag, a KagKik and a KogKag, so let’s see 2 sentences from each (and… not telling which is which)!
1. The morning sun playfully shone through the leaves, illuminating every drop of dew. The birds chirped happily, and a nearby spring sang its happy song.
2. When you are made of soil and anger, your body cannot die. True, you will be brittle and stiff, but it will keep you going, and will prevent you from rest.

Himawari was your youngest and it felt like you had chased monsters from under her bed only weeks ago. You didn’t know what you’d do if she actually got injured. Oboro broke his arm in his first sports festival and it had taken all of Hizashi and Shouta’s energy to stop you from dragging him home.
He slept like a log that night, that much was true, but his calves and ass ached so much that it took everything in him not to squeak like a deflating balloon as he stood over to bow.
Giran laughed so knowingly that it made your skin crawl. He had always been able to read you, for better or worse.
You never got to finish your sentence, though, for moments later you were flying through the air, every glass window around you shattering to pieces.

I’m so, so sorry about disappearing. It wasn’t intentional and I am absolutely fine.
I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it before but I am a key worker and work in the administrative offices of a major UK food production company, which is now not only hitting peak season, but is picking up traction now that covid regulations are being eased. As a tl;dr, I’m out of the house most of the day and when I’m not at work I’m hanging out with my man. (The man is a relatively new development btw.)
I’ve got a week off soon and the fella is going to be away for it, so updates should be coming soonish.
